EVENT// I AM NASRINE BY TINA GHARAVI & JAMES RICHARD BAILLIE

I Am Nasrine is a 2012 BAFTA nominated film which is coming to our screens on Saturday 9th Feb 2013 at 2:45.

This is a film about a young Iranian girl who is sent to the UK, it's about love, finding oneself and searching for home. Something I relate quite closely to, one of the reasons I set up this blog was so I could feel closer to 'home' despite living in the UK so I am on my own journey of self discovery.

The Director, Tina Gharavi and the Producer James Richard Baillie will be the for a Q&A after the screening. I love it when directors take the time to do this, as it makes the experience more worthwhile and personal.

"A life enhancing film. An important and much needed film." ~ Sir Ben Kingsley

I bought my tickets as soon as I heard it was being screened and I can't wait. I will be sure to write a review on my thoughts next week, and I will let you know if it's worth buying the DVD which is available to pre-order on the I Am Nasrine website.

Last time I heard they were half way to selling out, so make sure you book now if you want to go. Click this link if you want to buy tickets. Or if you want a chance to win tickets, share the link on Facebook .
